Zay has had a passion for dance throughout her adolescent years. She has danced in a variety of styles, including hip hop, Pom, and jazz. She participated in her high school’s hip hop team for her freshman and sophomore years, later joining the Pom team in her junior and senior years. She recently moved from Colorado where she turned her hobby into a career by teaching ballet, jazz, and hip hop to preschool through elementary age students. She most enjoyed the privilege of assisting in the development of confidence and performance ability for young dancers.

Zay continues exploring her dance abilities through Pom and jazz classes. She is grateful to be one of the newest members of the KC Canaries and is eager to bring her love for the stage and spotlight while acknowledging the historic Kansas City roots of a chorus girl.
