  • Music Theater Heritage 2450 Grand Boulevard STE 301 Kansas City, MO, 64108 United States (map)

Join us in celebrating the legacy of Marie Bryant!

As a team we believe that cost should never be a barrier to dance. That's why our quarterly workshops are “Pay What You Can”.

Marie Bryant a powerhouse dancer, choreographer, and teacher whose electrifying moves lit up stages from the Cotton Club to Hollywood. Discovered young for her Josephine Baker impersonations, she danced with legends like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Lionel Hampton. A film and stage sensation, she later taught stars like Gene Kelly, Ava Gardner, and Marlon Brando. From New Orleans roots to international fame, Bryant’s impact on dance was unstoppable.
